SIKESTON -- Philip L. Kelley, 57, of Sikeston, died Saturday, Aug. 6, 1994, a the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
He was born March 2, 1937, at Independence, son of Dr. F.O. and Grace M. Groeneman Kelley.
He married Jacqueline F. McKeage, Jan. 29, 1962, at Columbia.
Since 1972, Kelley worked as a community development specialist for the University of Missouri Extension Office, serving 13 counties in Southeast Missouri. Kelley earned a master's degree in education from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
He was a member of the reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Sikeston.
Survivors include his wife; his mother; a son, Benjamin Kelley of Independence; a daughter, Sylvia Jones of Sikeston; a sister, Charlotte Mayberry of Bernie; and two grandchildren.
Friends may call after 9 a.m. Tuesday at the Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston.
A memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. R.B. Woods officiating.
A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
