MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Philip DeBrock, 57, of Leopold, Mo., died Saturday, Jan. 3, 2009, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

He was born July 19, 1951, in Leopold, son of Edward and Agatha Tenholder DeBrock. He and Janet James were married April 27, 1974.

He worked in the warehouse for Do it Best, was a member of St. John's Catholic Church, a member of the Leopold Knights of Columbus and served in the Missouri National Guard.

Survivors include his wife; his mother, Agatha DeBrock of Leopold; a daughter, Heidi DeBrock of Oran, Mo.; and three sisters, Elaine Vandeven, Kathy Nanney and Debbie Keith, all of Leopold.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m., Tuesday at St. John's Catholic Church in Leopold, with a Knights of Columbus rosary and parish prayers at 7 p.m.

The funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with the Rev. John Harth officiating.

Burial will be in the church cemetery.
