Philip K. Brandon, 56, of Cape Girardeau passed away Saturday, Saturday, Sept. 7, 2019, at Saint Francis Medical Center.
He was born July 14, 1963, in Hammond, Indiana, to Bobby and Margaret Brandon.
Philip honorably served four years in the U.S. Air Force.
He previously worked as a publisher for TV Guide, a newspaper editor in California and was employed by Drury Hotels in Cape Girardeau.
He is survived by his sister, Anita (Donald) Moore of Cape Girardeau; niece, Abby (Mike) Eppenberger, and great-nephew, Cooper Eppenberger of St. Louis; niece, Megan Moore of Atlanta; nephew, Cole Moore of Cape Girardeau; brother, Steve (Amy) Brandon of Cape Girardeau; nieces, Samantha Brandon of St. Louis and Jessica Brandon and Maggie (Mitch) Baltzell and great-niece, Nora Baltzell, all of Cape Girardeau.
He was proceeded in death by his parents.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A family graveside service will be held at a later date.
