SIKESTON -- Perry Oakes, 25, of Sikeston died Monday, Dec. 13, 1999, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Jan. 7, 1974, at Sikeston, son of William Jerry and Theresa Jane Graham Oakes Sr. of Crowder. He and Jennifer Long were married on April 11, 1998.
He was a lifelong resident of the area and worked for Big Red's Auto Salvage.
Survivors include his parents; his wife; a son, Dustin Oakes of the home; and three brothers, Eddie Graham and Terry Oakes, both of Crowder, and Junior Oakes of Sikeston.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at First United Pentecostal Church in Sikeston. The Rev. David Maze of Morley will officiate. Burial will be at the Blodgett Cemetery.
Friends may call at the church from 11 a.m. Wednesday until service time.
