Penny Rodgers

SCOTT CITY, Mo. -- Penny Denise Rodgers, 33, died Wednesday, July 10, 2002, at her home.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson, Mo. Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, followed by burial in Russell Heights Cemetery. The Rev. Morris Cobb will officiate.

Rodgers was born July 29, 1968, at Cape Girardeau, daughter of Donald Wissman and Mary "Cathy" Cotner. She and Scotty E. Rodgers were married in 1986. He died July 10, 2002.

Survivors include her children, Quinton, Courtney and Chelsea Rodgers; mother and stepfather, Cathy and Art Hartle of Millersville; three brothers, Shannon and Tim Adams and Roger Hartle, all of Millersville, Mo; and a sister, Rhonda Sawyer of Jackson.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents.

Rodgers was employed at Havco Wood Products Inc. for two years. She previously worked at Major Custom Cable in Fruitland and Marble Hill.
