Penny Lou Klingel, 49, of Jackson, beloved mother, sister, daughter and friend, left this earth Friday morning Jan. 1, 2010, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was always kind to anyone she met and affected many lives, and if you had met her she probably made an impact on your life also. She has left this world but has left an imprint on the hearts of her friends and family. She has probably already stepped through heaven's gates into Jesus' arms, where he said to her, "you are mine."

Penny was born Oct. 8, 1960, in Kankakee, Ill., the daughter of Rufus Roy and Shirley Elaine Fry Sanford.
