Penny Ford

Penny Jo Ford, 58, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, Dec. 2, 2021, at her home.

She was born Jan. 12, 1963, in Peoria, Illinois, to Charles Ray and Patricia Louise Dean Diekhoff. She and Cleties Ford were married Feb. 2, 1983, in Jackson.

Survivors include her husband, Cleties Ford of Cape Girardeau; son, Christopher Ford of Cape Girardeau; daughter, Miranda Ford of Cape Girardeau; brother, Trent Diekhoff of Colorado; sister, Sheri Federice of Florida; and several grandchildren.

Penny was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Dru Diekhoff.

Visitation will be from 1:30 to 2 p.m. Saturday at First Assembly of God, 312 Dearborn in Scott City.

Memorial service will follow at 2 p.m. at the church with the Rev. Tommy Miller officiating.

Flowers may be sent directly to the church, and memorial contributions may be given to the family to assist with funeral expenses.

Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
