Penelope Park Mallard, 59, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, Feb. 7, 2008, at Golden Living Center in Bloomfield, Mo.

She was born Sept. 16, 1948, in Riverside, Calif., daughter of Joseph and Sophie Park. She was married to Thomas Mallard.

Mallard worked as a bill collector in the financial business.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Thomas Mallard of Whitewater; three brothers, Joseph Park of Anaheim, Calif., Jay Dee Park of Calif., Michael Park of Oregon; and a sister, Marie Lane Park.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

There are no services.

Ford and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
