Peggy Williams, 75, of Cape Girardeau died Saturday, April 4, 2015, at her home.
She was born Aug. 25, 1939, in Cape Girardeau to Harvey and Virginia James Moore. She married Edward Williams in 2002.
Peggy was a proud foster mom.
She enjoyed crafts and cooking and collected cookbooks and dolls.
She is survived by her husband, Edward, of Allenville; two daughters, Patty (Bob) Dugger of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, and Terry (Jerry) Thiele of Cape Girardeau; four sons, James (Vickie) Thomas of Cape Girardeau, Jon (Dotty) Thomas of Doniphan, Missouri, Jason (Paul) Thomas of Cape Girardeau and Dustin Williams of Delta; 17 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Elizabeth Jones and Jeanie Trombly of Doniphan; a brother, Darrell Moore of Doniphan; nieces; nephews; other relatives; and her special dog, Daisy.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Garrett Williams; and two brothers, David and Richard Moore.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until time of service Wednesday at Crain Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Fairmount Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Crain Funeral Home to offset final expenses. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
