PEGGY THOMAS

CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Funeral for Pansy Peggy Thomas of Chaffee will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee. The Rev. Nancy Woods will officiate. Burial will be in Union Park Cemetery.

Friends may call at the chapel after 5 p.m. Sunday.

Thomas, 82, died Thursday, Feb. 22, 2001, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born July 3, 1918, at Perkins, Mo., daughter of Oscar and Minnie Driskell Kittle. She and Tommy Thomas were married Nov. 14, 1940. He died Jan. 8, 1992.

Thomas was a member of VFW Auxiliary.

Survivors include a son, Tommy Thomas of Oklahoma City, Okla.; three daughters, Ina Thomas of Oklahoma City, Donna Anselm of Willow, Alaska, Velda Strack of Jackson, Mo.; two brothers, Paul Kittle of Rolla, Mo., Walter Kittle of Washington, D.C.; a sister, Lou Marshall of Sunrise Beach, Mo.; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, a brother, and a sister.
