Peggy Moore

Peggy Nell Moore, 70, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, Dec. 29, 2022, at Saint Francis Medical Center.

She was born April 28, 1952, in Cape Girardeau to Curtis and Ethel Wright Winchester. She and Mike Moore were married Oct. 15, 1981, at Cape Girardeau.

Peggy was a volunteer at Teen Challenge Thrift Store for 10 years.

Survivors include her husband, Mike Moore of Cape Girardeau; three sons, Timothy Perkins, Charles Madden and Derrick Moore, all of Cape Girardeau; two brothers, Cletus Winchester of Cape Girardeau and Bill Dewrock of Flint, Michigan; eight grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, five sisters, two brothers and two infant grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon Monday, Jan. 2, at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.

Funeral service will follow at noon Monday, Jan. 2, at the funeral home, with the Rev. Fred Burgard officiating. Burial will be at Lorimier Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
