Peggy Y. Vails Kinder, 52, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, Feb. 25, 2016, at Southeast Hospital. She was born Jan. 8, 1964, in St. Louis to Bennie F. and Sandra Kay Tollison Edwards. Peggy Y. Vails Kinder, 52, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, Feb. 25, 2016, at Southeast Hospital.

She was born Jan. 8, 1964, in St. Louis to Bennie F. and Sandra Kay Tollison Edwards.

Peggy graduated from Cape Girardeau Central High School and from Cosmetology School in Jacksonville, Florida. She was a beautician in Jacksonville and later was a CSM at Wal-Mart Supercenter in Cape Girardeau.

She is survived by four sons, Danny G. Vails Jr. of Fruitland, Jason I. Vails of Jackson, Ryan C. Vails of Jackson and Shayne P. Vails of Fruitland; a daughter, Cheyenne A. Kinder of Cape Girardeau; brothers Bennie R. (Christina) Edwards of Jackson and Terry Edwards of St. Louis; former husband Danny G. Vails Sr. of Fruitland; and four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Heather N. Vails; and a son, Sean M. Vails.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Timothy Lee officiating. Burial will be at Lorimier Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be given to the family toward funeral expenses.
