Peggy Ellison

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Peggy Lee Ellison, 86, of Perryville passed away Sunday, Aug. 19, 2018, at Chateau Girardeau Nursing Home in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Oct. 27, 1931, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, daughter of Tom and Virgil Lardis Quirk. She and Walt Ellison were married July 12, 1957.

Loving survivors include her husband of 61 years, Walt Ellison; three sons, Mitchell Ellison of Quincy, Illinois, Mark Ellison of Perryville and Martin Ellison of Memphis, Tennessee; two daughters, Marsha Bartley and Melanie Carter, both of Perryville; two sisters, Musadora Quirk and Ebitha Wupperman, both of Lancaster, Texas; 12 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Mike Ellison, and a brother, Patrick Quirk.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Cremation was accorded by McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson. McCombs Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau is in charge of arrangements.
