ST. PETERS, Mo. -- Peggy Jo Brotherton, 81, of St. Peters, formerly of Florissant and Bonne Terre, Missouri, went home to be with her Lord Jesus on Tuesday, Nov. 9, 2021. She was born Oct. 29, 1940, in Patton, Missouri, the daughter of Otis and Tava Seabaugh Sitze. She was a loving wife to Billie Gene Brotherton for 42 years before he passed away March 14, 2015...

ST. PETERS, Mo. -- Peggy Jo Brotherton, 81, of St. Peters, formerly of Florissant and Bonne Terre, Missouri, went home to be with her Lord Jesus on Tuesday, Nov. 9, 2021.

She was born Oct. 29, 1940, in Patton, Missouri, the daughter of Otis and Tava Seabaugh Sitze. She was a loving wife to Billie Gene Brotherton for 42 years before he passed away March 14, 2015.

Peggy spent much of her life as a homemaker, after working for McDonnell Aircraft Manufacturer and Target. She was a longtime member of the Northside Baptist Church in Florissant and most recently Harvester Christian Church in St. Charles, Missouri.

Survivors include her son, Brad (Randa Kay) Sitzes of St. Charles, and daughter, Carla Sitzes of Savannah, Missouri. She was very proud of her grandchildren, Melody (Sam) Reese, Valarie (Jake) Killgore, Alex and Katelyn Sitzes, and Nebraska and Kinlee Woods; and great-grandchildren, Austin Tounsand, Ryan and Collin Reese, Morgan, Laurie, Nick and Aria Killgore.

Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and her brother and sister.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Harvester Christian Church in St. Charles.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday at Liley Funeral Home in Patton.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with Rod Farthing officiating. Burial will follow in Reagan's Chapel Cemetery near Patton.
