Pearl Winchester

ADVANCE, Mo. -- Pearl E. Winchester, 85, of Advance passed away Wednesday, March 19, 2014, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born April 6, 1928, in Advance, daughter of John and Lena Miller Schatte. She married H.W. Winchester on Sept. 3, 1947.

Pearl attended Friendship Baptist Church of Dongola.

Survivors include her husband, H.W.; a brother, Henry Lucky Schatte of Oran, Mo.; three sisters, Mildred Conrad of Cape Girardeau, Nell Younger and Lora Owens of Advance; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Johnny Lee Winchester; and two brothers, Kenneth and Charles Schatte.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill, Mo.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Revs. Ronnie Winchester and Bob Winchester officiating. Interment will be in Friendship Cemetery at Dongola.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Dongola Cemetery Fund.
