Pearl Statler, 98, of Jackson died Thursday, June 1, 2006, at Fountainbleau Lodge in Cape Girardeau. She was born Sept. 19, 1907, in Mayfield, Mo., daughter of David and Eva Ethel Mayfield Green. She and Grealey P. Statler were married Sept. 3, 1927. He died Feb. 27, 1980...

Pearl Statler, 98, of Jackson died Thursday, June 1, 2006, at Fountainbleau Lodge in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Sept. 19, 1907, in Mayfield, Mo., daughter of David and Eva Ethel Mayfield Green. She and Grealey P. Statler were married Sept. 3, 1927. He died Feb. 27, 1980.

Statler lived in Sedgewickville, Mo., from 1931 until moving to Jackson in 1979. She was a former cook at Sedgewickville Schools, and was a member of First Baptist Church in Jackson.

Survivors include three sons, Kenneth Statler of Georgetown, Del., Glenn Statler of Vancouver, Wash., Larry Statler of Millersville; a daughter, Wanda Wilke of Millersville; six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two daughters, a brother, a sister, and a grandchild.

Friends may call at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home from 9 a.m. to service time Monday.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Sam Roethemeyer officiating. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery.
