WYATT, Mo. -- Funeral for Pearl Ellen Parr of Wyatt will be held at1 p.m. Sunday at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston, Mo. The Rev. Jason Roberts, a grandson, will officiate. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery near Charleston.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 5 to 8 p.m. today.

Parr, 97, died Thursday, July 19, 2001, at the home of a daughter near Wyatt.

She was born July 9, 1904, at Vanduser, Mo., daughter of John and Ollie Biggles Riggens. She and Walter Parr were married in January 1922. He died June 12, 1950.

Survivors include three daughters, Dorothy Brown of Wyatt, Mildred Corey of Granite City, Ill., Freda Sutherland of Eldon, Mo.; 24 grandchildren; and 39 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, three brothers, and a sister.
