DELTA -- Pearl Lackey Neeley, 83, died Thursday, Jan. 8, 1998, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau. She was born Feb. 1, 1914, at Mesler, daughter of George and Dora Surlet Pettit. She first married Homer Lackey, who preceded her in death. She later married Rex Neeley, who also preceded her in death...

DELTA -- Pearl Lackey Neeley, 83, died Thursday, Jan. 8, 1998, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Feb. 1, 1914, at Mesler, daughter of George and Dora Surlet Pettit. She first married Homer Lackey, who preceded her in death. She later married Rex Neeley, who also preceded her in death.

Survivors include a son, Garry Lackey of Half Moon Bay, Calif.; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son.

Friends may call at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance from 4-6 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jack Hargrave officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Grove Cemetery near Bell City.
