PEARL MCCAIN

BLOOMFIELD -- Pearl McCain, 93, of Bloomfield, died Monday, Aug. 12, 1991, at Dexter Memorial Hospital.

She was born April 15, 1898, near Bloomfield, daughter of Henry and Janie Schrader Malone. She married John Wesley McCain April 15, 1921.

McCain lived all her life in the Bloomfield and Sikeston areas.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Cellis McCain of Bloomfield; three daughters, Ivaun Douglas of Dexter, Ileta Cannon of Tecumseh, Cletha Pipkin of Rockford, Ill.; two stepsons, Ernest McCain of Sikeston, Welton McCain of Huntsville, Ala.; a half brother, Prentice Pry of Bloomfield; a half sister, Theta Goetz of Sikeston; 19 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren, and several great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Willard, and a stepdaughter, Ruby Wacthmuth.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Chiles-Cooper Funeral Chapel. The Rev. James Epps will officiate, with burial in Oak Ridge Cemetery near here.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. today.
