JACKSON -- Pauline "Polly" Wills, 74, of Jackson died Thursday, Feb. 11, 1999, at her winter home in Pharr, Texas.
She was born May 27, 1924, in Clinton, Ky., daughter of Thomas Allen and Nettie Irene Davis Wells. She and Dr. T.D. Wills Jr. were married Dec. 31, 1943, at Camp Crowder.
Wills worked for the magistrate clerk in Cape Girardeau County from 1960-64, and was a court reporter with State of Missouri Workers Compensation from 1974-86.
She was a member of New McKendree United Methodist Church, member and past worthy matron of Jackson Chapter 91 Order of Eastern Star.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Thomas Wills III of Farmington, Dr. James Wills of Jackson; a daughter, Cheryl Puhlman of Danville, Calif.; a brother, Elmer Swanson of Bella Vista, Ark.; nine grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by two brothers.
Friends may call at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home from 4-8 p.m. Sunday. An Eastern Star service will be held at 7.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Brian Anderson officiating. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery.
