CHARLESTON -- Funeral for Pauline Walker of Charleston will be held at 2 p.m. today at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston. The Rev. Gerald Collier will officiae. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 5-8 p.m. today.

Walker, 77, died Sunday, July 11, 1999, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

She was born Nov. 23, 1921, in Poplar Bluff, daughter of William F. and Maudie Mae Tucker Hudson. She and Robert C. Walker were married Jan. 15, 1944.

Walker had lived in Charleston since 1953. She worked at Saliba's Jewelry Store 20 years, until it closed in 1980. She and her husband then opened Walker's Jewelry Store.

She was a member of First Baptist Church and Charleston BPW Club. She was a Girl Scout leader 10 years.

Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Carrol Fisher of Newcomb, Md., Susan Cox of Charleston; a brother, Bob Hudson of Poplar Bluff; a sister, Dorothy Barkley of Costa Mesa, Calif.; and a grandson.

She was preceded in death by two brothers and four sisters.
