CHAFFEE -- Pauline B. Tidwell, 78, of Chaffee died Wednesday, Aug. 4, 1999, at her home.
She was born Feb. 18, 1921, at Arab, daughter of George and Minnie McKee Hanner. She and Everett Hastings were married March 27, 1941. He died in 1979. She later married Shirley Tidwell April 30, 1994, at Grant City.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Everett "Junior" Hastings of Chaffee, Gene Hastings of Franklin, Ky.; a daughter, Darlene Hastings of Chaffee; and a stepson, Troy Tidwell of Matthews.
Also surviving are eight stepdaughters, Shirley Cureton of Crowder, Rebecca Nance, Kay Orman, Hope Parker and Jessica Gates of Sikeston, Kathy Haley of Arkansas, Virginia Southerland and Tammy Jackson of Alabama; three brothers, Frank Hanner of Sturdivant, Glen Hanner of Blytheville, Ark., Norman Hanner of Troy, Ala.; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 25 stepgrandchildren; and several great-stepgrandchildren.
She was preceded in death by five sisters and two brothers.
Friends may call at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance from 5:30-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Bob Burns will officiate. Burial will be in Morgan Memorial Park in Advance.
