Pauline Picola Hartle, 89, of 22 N. Hanover, died Saturday, Nov. 20, at the St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. She was born in Cape Girardeau on June 12, 1904, to John F. and Clara Beaudean Meinz. On Sept. 1, 1929, she married Oscar A. Hartle in Cape Girardeau. He preceded her in death on June 17, 1980...

Pauline Picola Hartle, 89, of 22 N. Hanover, died Saturday, Nov. 20, at the St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born in Cape Girardeau on June 12, 1904, to John F. and Clara Beaudean Meinz.

On Sept. 1, 1929, she married Oscar A. Hartle in Cape Girardeau. He preceded her in death on June 17, 1980.

Survivors include one daughter, Lee Anna DePriest of Mountain Home, Ark.; two brothers, Jack Meinz of Cape Girardeau and Walter Meinz of Scott City; three sisters, Cecelia Sonderman of Cape Girardeau, Joan Jaschke of Bradenton, Fla., and Eva Cotner of Shreveport, La. Three grandchildren and one great grandchild also survive.

Hartle was a life-long resident of Cape Girardeau and a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church of Cape Girardeau.

Friends may call from 4-7 p.m., today, at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel. Parish prayers will be recited at 5 p.m., today, at the funeral home.

The funeral mass will be held Tuesday, at 9:30 a.m., at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Cape Girardeau, with the Rev. Ron Hoye officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery.
