SIKESTON -- Pauline Elizabeth Northcutt, 86, of St. Charles, died Tuesday, April 2, 1996, at Claywest Nursing Home in St. Charles. She was born April 3, 1909, in Savannah, Tenn., daughter of George Milton and Martha Jane Whitlow Duckworth. She and Marshall F. Northcutt were married Sept. 2, 1930, in Corinth, Miss. He died Dec. 13, 1974...

SIKESTON -- Pauline Elizabeth Northcutt, 86, of St. Charles, died Tuesday, April 2, 1996, at Claywest Nursing Home in St. Charles.

She was born April 3, 1909, in Savannah, Tenn., daughter of George Milton and Martha Jane Whitlow Duckworth. She and Marshall F. Northcutt were married Sept. 2, 1930, in Corinth, Miss. He died Dec. 13, 1974.

Formerly of Crowder, she was a member of Miner Baptist Church and the Golden Circle Sunday School Class.

Survivors include a son, Don Northcutt of Sikeston; four daughters, Joyce Smith of Rural Retreat, Va., Carolyn Deal and Sarah Sharp of St. Peters, Linda King of Lockhart, Texas; a brother, Douglas Duckworth of Houston, Texas; 12 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, three brothers, seven sisters and a granddaughter.

Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the chapel, with the Rev. Dale Merritt officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
