ANNA, Ill. -- Pauline A. Kohler, 83, of Anna died Friday, Oct. 5, 2001, at the Union County Hospital. Born March 2, 1918, in Cobden, Ill., she was the daughter of Charles and Mamie Jungers Fischer. On Jan. 15, 1941, she married Samuel Kohler in Cobden. He died Feb. 27, 1989...

ANNA, Ill. -- Pauline A. Kohler, 83, of Anna died Friday, Oct. 5, 2001, at the Union County Hospital.

Born March 2, 1918, in Cobden, Ill., she was the daughter of Charles and Mamie Jungers Fischer.

On Jan. 15, 1941, she married Samuel Kohler in Cobden. He died Feb. 27, 1989.

Kohler was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Anna and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars ladies auxiliary.

Survivors include two sons, Nicholas Scott Kohler of Wildwood, Ill., Michael K. Kohler of Bartlett, Ill.; and three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and two sisters.

Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. today at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna. A Rosary service will be held at the funeral home at 6:30 p.m. today

Funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the St. Mary's Catholic Church with the Rev. Tom Miller officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Catholic cemetery in Cobden.
