Pauline Hampton

ANNA, Ill. -- Pauline L. Hampton, 80, of Edwardsville, Ill., died Monday, April 21, 2003, at Sunbridge Care and Rehabilitation in Edwardsville.

She was born Sept. 26, 1922, in Makanda, Ill., daughter of George and Grace Smith Hancock.

Hampton formerly owned Southern BBQ in Anna, Ill.

Survivors include two sons, James Moore of Edwardsville, Wiley Moore of Springfield, Ill.; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son and a brother.

Friends may call at Crain Funeral Home in Anna from 5 to 8 p.m. today, and Wednesday until time of service.

The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Anna Cemetery.
