PAULINE E. MARTIN

CHAFFEE -- Pauline Elizabeth Martin, 95, died Monday, March 22, 1993, at Chaffee Nursing Center.

She was born Feb. 22, 1898, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Casimer and Mary Frederick Schwach. She and August Martin were married May 2, 1916. He died Dec. 26, 1958.

Martin was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church and Daughters of St. Ambrose.

Survivors include a son, Ben Martin of Chaffee; two daughters, Dora Dirnberger of Chaffee, Amonell Welter of Oran; eight grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by a son, four brothers, five sisters, two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Ambrose Church, with the Rev. Allan Saunders officiating. Burial will be in St. Edward's Catholic Cemetery at Dutchtown.

Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Home in Chaffee after 4 p.m. today. The parish rosary will be at 7.
