BELL CITY -- Pauline G. Dalton, 78, of Bell City died Saturday, Oct. 7, 1995, in the Bloomfield Nursing Center in Bloomfield.
She was born Jan. 15, 1917, in Lilbourn, the daughter of William and Bessie Taylor Gremore. On June 25, 1938, she married Blair E. Dalton Jr., who preceded her in death on Feb. 19, 1971.
She was a research interviewer for the University of Michigan and also worked for the Hunter Gin Co. in Bell City. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Bell City, the Painton Homemaker's Club and the First Christian Church in Sikeston.
Survivors include two sons, David B. Dalton of Bloomfield and Bill J. Dalton of Dallas; two brothers, Jack Gremore of Van Buren and Harry Gremore of Sikeston; a sister, Margie Landtrip of Memphis, Tenn.; three grandchildren; and a great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Harold Gremore.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel.
The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral chapel, with the Rev. Ed Pangburn officiating. Burial will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
