PAULINE CAMPBELL

EAST PRAIRIE -- Pauline Campbell, 86, of East Prairie died Friday, Nov. 10, 1995, at the East Prairie Nursing Center.

She was born April 25, 1909, in Hickman, Ky., the daughter of James and Bessie Gunter Roper. In 1926, she married Frank Campbell, who preceded her in death in August 1971.

Campbell had lived in Mississippi County most of her life. She was employed by the Prairie Manufacturing Co. from 1952 until retiring in 1974. She was a member of the St. James General Baptist Church in East Prairie.

Survivors include two sons, James Campbell and Howard Campbell, both of East Prairie, five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by an infant son.

The funeral service will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. today at the Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie, with David Dowdy officiating. Burial will follow in the East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery.
