PAULINE BRUNE

Pauline Caldwell Brune, 84, of Cape Girardeau died Sunday, April 28, 1996, at St. Francis Medical Center.

She was born Aug. 1, 1911, at McClure, Ill., daughter of Ernest and Edith Lightner Caldwell. She and Robert W. Brune were married in October 1952, at Piggott, Ark. He preceded her in death.

Brune worked at the Elgin, Ill., Mental Health Hospital, the Colony Club and as a sales clerk for Montgomery Ward. She was a member of the Lutheran church.

Survivors include a sister, Mary Lou Lett, and 14 nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a son and six brothers.

Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Chapel.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the chapel. The Rev. Neil Stein will officiate, with burial in Lorimier Cemetery.
