ADVANCE -- Pauline L. Bland, 97, of Advance died Wednesday, April 30, 1997, at Advance Nursing Center. She was born Oct. 8, 1899, in Edwardsville, Ill., daughter of Prokup and Barbara Sedlacek Habada. She and Joe Bland were married April 26, 1933, at Jackson. He died Dec. 13, 1990...

ADVANCE -- Pauline L. Bland, 97, of Advance died Wednesday, April 30, 1997, at Advance Nursing Center.

She was born Oct. 8, 1899, in Edwardsville, Ill., daughter of Prokup and Barbara Sedlacek Habada. She and Joe Bland were married April 26, 1933, at Jackson. He died Dec. 13, 1990.

Bland was a member of Church of Christ in Advance.

Survivors include a daughter, Charlotte Digiovanni of St. Louis; a foster daughter, Edna Gaines of Advance; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.

Friends may call at Morgan Funeral Home from 4-7 p.m. Friday.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with Billy Davis officiating. Burial will be in Morgan Memorial Park.
