BERTRAND, Mo. -- Pauletta Hooper, 71, of Bertrand died Thursday, Sept. 6, 2001, at her home.
She was born Dec. 29, 1929, at Bertrand, daughter of Ernest and Gladys Spicer Hurley. She and Harold Eugene "Gene" Hooper were married in 1949. He died Oct. 28, 1992.
Survivors include three sons, David Hooper of Bertrand, Harold Hooper of Guttenberg, Iowa, Tony Hooper of Benton, Mo.; three daughters, Becky Boyer of Bertrand, Kelly Brown of Wyatt, Mo., Sandy Woodruff of Bardwell, Ky.; a brother, Gene Hurley of Phoenix, Ariz.; six sisters, Evelyn Stricker of Sikeston, Mo., Helen Miller of Benton, Donna Williams and Daisy Fuller of Grand Rapids, Mich., Gaye Baker and Sherry Ausbrooks of Bertrand; 16 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, and a sister.
Friends may call at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston, Mo., from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Charles Kohlbaker officiating. Burial will be in Bluff Cemetery at Idalia, Mo.
