MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Paul Herman Yount, 79, of Marble Hill passed away Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2014, at his home.
He was born Oct. 26, 1935, at Bessville, Missouri, son of William F. and Helen Green Yount. He and Bobette Mungle were married June 18, 1959. She passed away May 7, 2006. He then married Louise Wilma Barks on Sept. 1, 2007.
Paul was a very hard worker at everything he did. He was a tuck pointer with Bricklayers Union 1 of Missouri in St. Louis. He cut and hauled wood and mulch to St. Louis. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Marble Hill.
Survivors include three daughters, Saundra (Henry) Jordan of Marble Hill, Denean (John) Auer of Scott City, Tracy Flora of Jefferson City, Missouri; a brother, Arnold Yount of Marble Hill; three sisters, Thelma Keller of Perryville, Missouri, Faye Huckstep of Marble Hill and Wilma Lee Ray of House Springs, Missouri; nine grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Dale and Roy Yount.
Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until service time Saturday at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill.
The funeral will be at noon Saturday at the funeral home, with the Revs. Fred Ritter and Joe McCullough officiating. Burial will be in Old Union Cemetery near Bessville.
