SCOTT CITY -- Paul Wayne Owens, 61, of Scott City, died Monday, June 21, 1993, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

He was born June 8, 1932, at Scott City, daughter of William Riley and Alma Coomer Owens.

He attended the Wesleyan Church in Scott City.

Survivors include his father of Scott City; two brothers, James Owens of Scott City, Morris Owens of Jackson; and a sister, Geneva Miskell of Scott City.

He was preceded in death by his mother, two brothers and a sister.

Friends may call after 5 p.m. Wednesday at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City, with the Rev. Rennie Phillips and the Rev. R.C. Stephens officiating.

Burial will follow at Lightner Cemetery in Scott City.
