Paul Unverferth

Paul Douglas Unverferth, 49, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, May 22, 2008, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

He was born April 11, 1959, in Perryville, Mo., son of Thomas "Pete" and Lois Jean Rose Unverferth.

Unverferth had worked at Buchheit Inc. more than 10 years. He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.

Survivors include three daughters, Emily Unverferth of Columbia, Mo., Laura Unverferth of St. Louis, Sarah Unverferth of Cape Girardeau; three brothers, Mark Unverferth of Perryville, Richard and Guy Unverferth of St. Louis; four daughters, Cheryl Graff of Fort Meyers, Fla., Geri Mayer of DeSoto, Mo., Jackie Hofius of St. Louis and Lisa Unverferth of Perryville.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Sunday and 6:30 to 9:30 a.m. Monday at Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville. The Catholic wake will be at 7 p.m. Sunday. The rosary will be recited at 8:30 a.m. Monday.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Vincent de Paul Church, with the Rev. Milton Ryan officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
