ESSEX, Mo. -- Paul L. Smith Jr., 26, of Essex died Tuesday, May 8, 2001, at Dexter Memorial Hospital in Dexter, Mo. He was born Aug. 11, 1974, in Cape Girardeau, son of Paul Smith and Anne Campbell Smith Sr. Survivors include his parents, Paul and Tammy Smith of Chaffee, Mo., Anne and Joey Davis of Marble Hill, Mo.; two brothers, Steve and Joey Smith of Marble Hill; two half brothers, Jason Smith of Chaffee, Troy Davis of Marble Hill; and paternal grandfather, Melvin W. Smith of Scott City, Mo...

ESSEX, Mo. -- Paul L. Smith Jr., 26, of Essex died Tuesday, May 8, 2001, at Dexter Memorial Hospital in Dexter, Mo.

He was born Aug. 11, 1974, in Cape Girardeau, son of Paul Smith and Anne Campbell Smith Sr.

Survivors include his parents, Paul and Tammy Smith of Chaffee, Mo., Anne and Joey Davis of Marble Hill, Mo.; two brothers, Steve and Joey Smith of Marble Hill; two half brothers, Jason Smith of Chaffee, Troy Davis of Marble Hill; and paternal grandfather, Melvin W. Smith of Scott City, Mo.

Friends may call at Liley Funeral Home in Patton, Mo., after 9 a.m. Saturday.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jack Owens officiating. Burial will be in Lightner Cemetery at Scott City.
