CHARLESTON -- Paul Scott Jr., 88, of Charleston, died Friday, Feb. 26, 1993, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

He was born Dec. 2, 1904, in Cary, Miss., son of Paul and Marilla Carson Scott.

Survivors include two daughters, Cerdie Davis of Chicago, Clevia Beard of East St. Louis, Ill.; four sisters, Alfreda Rodgers of Charleston, Alice Woods of Flint, Mich., Rosolie Williams of Grand Rapids, Mich., Fula James of Carbondale, Ill.; a brother, Eugene Scott of Charleston; 24 grandchildren, and 45 great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Mercy Seat Baptist Church. The Rev. Flem Bronner Sr. will officiate, with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery.

Friends may call at Sparks Funeral Home from 6-7 p.m. Friday.
