CHAFFEE -- Paul O. Mansell, 85, Chaffee Route 1, died Monday, Dec. 4, 1995, at his home. He was born Sept. 25, 1910, near Bell City, son of Charles Robert and Minnie Louise Hency Mansell. He married the former Ruby Callaway. Mansell retired as a truck driver with I.M.L. Freight Lines in Kansas City. He was a member of United Pentecostal Church, American Legion Post 389 and Country CBers Club, all in Chaffee. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II...

CHAFFEE -- Paul O. Mansell, 85, Chaffee Route 1, died Monday, Dec. 4, 1995, at his home.

He was born Sept. 25, 1910, near Bell City, son of Charles Robert and Minnie Louise Hency Mansell. He married the former Ruby Callaway.

Mansell retired as a truck driver with I.M.L. Freight Lines in Kansas City. He was a member of United Pentecostal Church, American Legion Post 389 and Country CBers Club, all in Chaffee. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

Survivors include his wife; three sons, Billy, Charles and Matthew Mansell of St. Louis; two daughters, Jacque Mansell and Nancy Cain of Sullivan; four stepsons, William Priest of Washington, Mo., Marvin Serviss of Canton, Kan., David Serviss of Billings, Mont., Steven Serviss of Crossville, Tenn.; a stepdaughter, Cynthia Purcell of Mayfield, Ky.; a sister, Myrtle Spooler, Chaffee Route 1; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 12 stepgrandchildren, and a great-stepgrandchild.

He was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.

There is no visitation.

Graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Friend Cemetery in Oran. The Rev. Luther Thorne will officiate.

Amick-Burnett Funeral Home at Chaffee is in charge of arrangements.
