PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Paul F. Moore 70, of Perryville died Oct. 22, 2011, at his residence.
He was born Jan. 20, 1941, in Perryville, son of the late Lloyd and Cordula Zoellner Moore.
Mr. Moore was owner/operator of Shakertown Grocery, the trucking parts manager for Larry Schmidt and maintenance worker for Perry County School District No. =32.
He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Perry County Historical Society and the Knights of Columbus. He served in the U.S. Air Force, was an avid stamp collector and was a lifelong Cardinals fan.
Other survivors include three sons and three daughters, James Moore of Colorado Springs, Colo., Kristen (Ed) Forgue of Lakeland Fla., Eric (Julie) Moore of Cumming, Iowa, Laura (Jason) Rodewald of Perryville, John Moore of Sycamore Ill., Catherine (Jason) Froderman of St. Louis; three brothers, Lloyd Moore Jr. of Paducah, Ky., Sam Moore of Palm Harbor, Fla., Tom Moore of Springfield, Mo.; 13 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one daughter, Elizabeth Moore.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Young and Sons Funeral Home, with a Catholic wake service at 5 p.m. Visitation will continue from 6:30 to 9 a.m. Wednesday.
Funeral Mass for Mr. Moore will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, with the Rev. Francis Agnew officiating. Burial will follow in the Mount Hope Cemetery.
Memorials are preferred to the Children's Section at the Riverside Regional Library or the Alzheimer's Association.
