OVERLAND, Mo. -- Baptized into the hope of Christ's resurrection, Paul W. Mills Jr. passed away Thursday, Aug. 3, 2017.
He was an Air Force veteran and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3944.
He was a cave explorer and wine maker and was known as Mr. Congeniality. He was an All Souls Minuteman.
Paul was the beloved husband of Helen (Happle) Mills; dear father and father-in-law of Paul (Carolyn) Mills III, Robert (Helen) Mills and James Mills; dear grandfather of Caitlin, Abigail, Paul IV, Jayden, Hannah, Robert II (Samantha), Wayne and Alexandria (Brad); dear great-grandfather of Kaylynn, Jason and Ellianna; dear brother of Karen Murphy and Deborah (Norbert) Nenninger; and dear uncle, great-uncle, cousin and friend.
Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Ortmann Funeral Home, 9222 Lackland Road in Overland.
Funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home and then proceed to All Souls Catholic Church at 11:30 a.m. Thursday for a Mass of the Resurrection. Interment will be in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
