McCLURE, Ill. -- Paul D. Miller, 75, of McClure died Monday, March 21, 2011, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Aug. 13, 1935, in Elco, Ill., son of Ray C. and Bertha Mae Rhymer Miller. He and Shirley Eudy were married Aug. 27, 1954, in Reynoldsville, Ill.

Paul worked many years as an electrician at McDonnell-Douglas Co. before returning and working with his brother at Ullin Body Shop.

Survivors include his wife Shirley of McClure; a son, David Paul (Kristy) Miller of St. Charles, Mo.; a daughter, Penny (Kerry) Hill of McClure; two grandchildren, Julie D. Hill and Kacie R. Hill; a brother, Conrad (Laverne) Miller of Ullin; two sisters-in-law, Betty and Goldie Miller; other relatives and many friends.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Bertha Miller; two brothers, Chuck and Gordon Miller; and a sister, Deloris Eudy.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro, Ill., and from noon to service time Friday at Reynoldsville Missionary Baptist Church in Reynoldsville, Ill.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the church, with the Rev. Dan Brown officiating. Interment will be in Jonesboro Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or Reynoldsville Missionary Baptist Church. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home and at the church.
