Paul William Lowes, 88, of Jackson died Saturday, June 11, 2022, at the Lutheran Home.

He was born Jan. 7, 1934 in Cape Girardeau County to Emil H.F. and Emma Louise Voges Lowes. He and Loretta Marie Friese were married Oct. 20, 1962, at Old Hanover Lutheran Church.

He served eight years in the Missouri National Guard.

Paul was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 702 in Frankfort, Illinois, and of Missouri Big Bucks Club with score of 153 1/8. He was a Trustee at Arnsberg Cemetery.

He was a member of Hanover Lutheran Church and was baptize at Old Hanover Lutheran Church. He was confirmed at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Jackson.

Survivors include his wife, Loretta Marie Lowes of Jackson; brother, Harold F. (Maretta) Lowes of Jackson; sister-in-law, Mary Lou Lowes of Jackson; and several nieces and nephews

Paul was preceded in death by his parents; three Brothers, Roy, Ralph E. and Norman Lowes; and two sisters, Marie Daume and Lillian Reimann.

Visitation will be from 9 to a.m. Wednesday at Hanover Lutheran Church in Cape Girardeau.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church with the Rev. Rod Benkendorf officiating. Burial will be at the church cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be given to Hanover Lutheran Historical Church or Hanover Lutheran Church Cemetery.
