Paul A. Huffman Sr., 78, of Oak Ridge, passed away Wednesday, May 3, 2023, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau. Paul was born Jan. 2, 1945, in St. Louis, son of the late Paul and Ella Louise Chapman Huffman. He and Carla J. Stoudt were married Aug. 28, 1999. She preceded him in death Oct. 15, 2022...

Paul A. Huffman Sr., 78, of Oak Ridge, passed away Wednesday, May 3, 2023, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

Paul was born Jan. 2, 1945, in St. Louis, son of the late Paul and Ella Louise Chapman Huffman. He and Carla J. Stoudt were married Aug. 28, 1999. She preceded him in death Oct. 15, 2022.

He owned and operated Paul's Auto Parts in Oak Ridge for more than 50 years. He was a member of the Eagles Club in Ste. Genevieve, Missouri.

Paul was very charitable to those in need, hard working and, above all, he loved spending time with his family.

He is survived by his children, Paul A. Huffman Jr. of Alaska, Paula K. (Chuck) Reed of Blodgett, Missouri, Edward Huffman of Oak Ridge and Renee (Tim) Dickerson and Michelle Wahl, both of Chaffee, Missouri; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to his wife and parents, Paul was preceded in death by his stepfather, Dale Woeltje Sr.; a son, Lonnie R. Huffman; and former wives, Janet Mae Crader and Lila Jackson.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, May 8, at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday, May 8, at the funeral home, with the Rev. John Casebolt officiating. Burial will follow in Caney Fork Baptist Church Cemetery.

Memorials may take the form of contributions to the Alzheimer's Association.
