Paul Edward Hendrickson, 72, of Cape Girardeau died Monday, July 18, 2022, at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.
He was born Dec. 21, 1949, in Cape Girardeau to Benson and Rosemary Halter Hendrickson. He married Colette Ressel Oct. 8, 1999, in Kelso, Missouri.
He worked for Procter & Gamble for 30 years. He was a member of St. Vincent Catholic Church, Knight of Columbus Council No. 06420 Third Degree, Veterans of Foreign Wars 6407 and volunteered at the food pantry in Cape Girardeau and for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving in Vietnam.
He is survived by his wife, Colette; two brothers, Mark Hendrickson of Cape Girardeau and Ray (Robin) Hendrickson of Jackson.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Ralph Hendrickson.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Kelso, Missouri.
Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. on Friday at the church with the Rev. Tom Wilk as celebrant. Burial will be in St. Augustine Catholic Cemetery in Kelso with full military honors.
Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City is in charge of arrangements.
