PERRYVILLE, Mo. — Paul E. Hamilton Sr., 73, of Perryville died Friday, July 25, 2008, in Perryville.
He was born June 29, 1935, in Cape Girardeau, son of Roy Wallace and Viola Lenard Hamilton. He and Arlene Smith were married Dec. 3, 1976, in Delhi, Calif.
Hamilton was a welding inspector with AWS. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion and Disabled American Veterans.
He served in the U.S. Marine Corps and the U.S. Air Force.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Saundra Rankin of Perryville, Terry Elam of Modesto, Calif.; two sons, Paul Hamilton Jr. and Lewis Brahic of Modesto; two brothers, Clifford Hamilton of Sun City, Calif., Jim Hamilton of Kentucky; a sister, Maxine Fluegge of St. Louis; and 11 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two daughters.
A graveside military service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield.
