PAUL EVERETT BUCHER

VILLA RIDGE, Ill. -- Paul Everett Bucher, 74, of Brideview, formerly of Mounds, died Sunday, May 24, 1998, at the Christ Hospital in Oaklawn.

He was born March 13, 1924, in Mounds, son of Louis and Lena Biesinger Bucher. He was a retired automobile salesman in the Chicago area, an Army veteran of World War II, and a lifetime member of the VFW Post 3455 of Anna.

Survivors include his wife, Clara Bucher, of Bridgeview; two sons, Paul Bucher Jr. of Evergreen and Robert Bucher of Clarendon Hills; a daughter, Peggy Grey of Severn, Md.; two brothers, James "Tommy" Bucher of Creal Springs and Victor Bucher of Evansville, Ind.; a sister, Mary Lou Adams of Anna; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.

Funeral will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Jones Funeral Home in Villa Ridge, with the Rev. Bill McGhee officiating. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery in Mounds.

Friends may call between 4 and 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
