Paul "Dean" Lacy, 88, of Cape Girardeau died Friday, March 24, 2017, at Hunter Acres Care Center in Sikeston, Missouri.
He was born July 3, 1928, in Cape Girardeau to Walter and Alberta Poole Lacy. He married Wanda Overbeck on April 8, 1950. She preceded him in death Jan. 29, 2016.
Dean was a volunteer with the East County Fire Department for over 25 years. He was a sheet-metal fabricator in the plumbing and heating industry.
He is survived by one son, Rodney (Marsha) Lacy; one daughter, Deborah (Robin) Fornkohl; six grandchildren, Scott (Melisia), Eric, Brad (Ralina) and Kevin Fornkohl, Michelle (Josh) Abercrombie and Brandon Lacy; 14 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, five brothers and three sisters.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at Crain Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.
The funeral services for Paul "Dean" Lacy will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Lee Thompson officiating. Interment will be in Lorimier Cemetery.
