SIKESTON -- Funeral service for Paul D. Terrell of Sikeston will be held at 2:30 p.m. today at Illinois Avenue General Baptist Church. The Rev. Sam Book will officiate, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery.

Friends may call at the church from 11 a.m. to service time.

Nunnelee Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Terrell, 54, died Sunday, Nov. 1, 1992, at Missouri Delta Medical Center Emergency Room.

He was born Aug. 13, 1938, at Wyatt, son of William D. and Floye Skinner Terrell. He and Ruth Hazel were married April 2, 1965, at Sikeston.

Terrell worked 20 years at Lewis Furniture Co., and was a member of Illinois Avenue Church. He was an ordained General Baptist minister, and ministered to patients at Sikeston Health Care Center and Miner Nursing Center. He served with the U.S. Army in Germany 1961-64.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Kevin Terrell of Barnhart; his mother of Sikeston; two brothers, Charlie and Jerry Terrell of Sikeston; four sisters, Naoma Ward and Sarah Craig of Sikeston, Allene Weekley of Hillsboro, Lois Parrott of Antonia, and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a sister.
