ANNISTON -- Funeral service for Paul Busby of Anniston will be held at 1 p.m. today at McMikle Funeral Chapel in Charleston. The Revs. James Bolden and Jesse Garrett officiated, with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery.

Busby, 82 years old, died Sunday, Jan. 20, 1991, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.

He was born Sept. 19, 1908, in Mississippi County, son of Neal Barney and Lois Roach Busby. He and the former Florence Mae Bibb were married Dec. 24, 1931.

Busby was a retired farmer and logger, and member of Gospel Assembly Church at East Prairie.

Survivors include his wife; six sons, Paul Busby of Dexter, Larry Busby of Anna, Ill., Noel Busby of Colorado Springs, Colo., James Busby of Charleston, Frankie Busby of Yorkville, Ill., Ben Busby of Millstadt, Ill.; three daughters, Betty Allen of Sikeston, Donna Mosier of Scott City, Frieda Watson of Paducah, Ky.; two sisters, Ruby Rigsby of East Prairie, Dorothy Karr of Arnold; 24 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren.
