Paul David Blue, 70, son of Paul James and Verna Marie Snider Blue, was born Feb. 21, 1954, in Cape Girardeau and departed his life at his home in Oran on Monday morning, May 20, 2024, surrounded by his family.
He was a former maintenance employee with Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau and a member of Arbor General Baptist Church.
On July 3, 1992, he was united in marriage to Geraldine Kay Senciboy in Arbor. She survivors of the home in Oran.
Besides his wife, survivors include two daughters, Ginny (Allen) Barlow of Delta and Cindy Kitchen of Cape Girardeau; three grandchildren, Courtney (Frank), Dalton (Hanna) and Devin; three great-grandchildren, Meika, Carson and Layla; two brothers, Jimmie (Barbara) Blue and Kenny (Sharon) Blue, all of Chaffee; two sisters, Jo Ann (Dwayne) Standridge and Pam Dugger of Sikeston; several nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and great-nephews.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Larry Blue.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, May 23, at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran.
Funeral will then be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday, May 23, at the funeral home, with the Rev. Danny Freeland officiating. Interment will follow in the Williams Cemetery in Perkins.
